  1. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

Red eight-sided sign with the word STOP in white

You come to this sign at a quiet rural intersection. What must you do?

Stop fully, then go when the way is clear

This red octagon is a stop sign. You must come to a full stop every time and be sure the way is clear before you go.

  2. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

Downward-pointing triangle with a white centre and a wide red border

    What does this sign mean?

Slow down and give the right of way

A yield sign means reduce speed and let traffic in or closely approaching the intersection go first. Stop if you need to.

  3. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

White X-shaped sign made of two crossed boards with black lettering

    What does this sign mean?

Railway crossing: yield, stop if necessary

The crossbuck marks a railway crossing. It has the same colours and meaning as a yield sign: give the right of way and stop if necessary.

  4. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

Five-sided fluorescent yellow-green sign showing two black figures of children walking

What does this five-sided sign mark?

    A school zone

The pentagon-shaped sign with a fluorescent yellow-green background and black figures of children marks a school zone.

  5. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

Black horizontal rectangle with a white arrow and the words ONE WAY

    What does this sign mean?

Traffic moves only in the arrow's direction

This is a one-way sign. Traffic on that street or highway travels only in the direction of the arrow.

  6. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

Tall white rectangle with the word MAXIMUM, a large number 100 and km/h

    What does this sign mean?

Fastest speed allowed in ideal conditions

A maximum speed sign shows the fastest you may legally drive under ideal conditions. In poor conditions you must go slower.

  7. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

Square white sign with a red circle crossed by a white horizontal bar

    What does this sign mean?

    Do not enter

A red circle with a white horizontal bar means you must not enter that road or ramp, usually because traffic comes the other way.

  8. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

White square showing a black rounded island with an arrow curving past its right side

    What does this sign mean?

Keep to the right of the island

This regulatory sign means keep to the right of the traffic island or obstruction ahead.

  9. Regulatory road signs · Road sign

White square showing two cars side by side inside a red circle with a red slash

    What does this sign mean?

You may not turn around to go back

FAQ

Saskatchewan Class 7 flashcards: questions

Where do these flashcards come from?

478 cards are points from our study notes, which we write from the official Saskatchewan Driver's Handbook; the front names the rule and the back states it. The other 42 cards show a road sign drawing on the front and its meaning on the back, as in our road sign questions.

How should I use the flashcards?

Read the front, answer in your head, then flip. Choose "Got it" only if you knew it; otherwise choose "Review again". At the end, go through the "Review again" cards once more, or pick a single topic from the list to focus on it.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, on this device only. Cards marked "Review again" stay in the "Needs review" list, and every card you rate counts towards your topic map on the exam overview. Nothing is sent to us with your name; you can clear it from the overview page.

Are flashcards enough to pass the Saskatchewan Class 7 test?

No. Flashcards help you remember the rules, but the test asks multiple-choice questions. Use our practice tests and mock exams as well, and study the official material from Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI).
