Who we are
Every practice question, explanation, study note and licence guide on Canada Exam Prep is published by the Canada Exam Prep Editorial Team. That is the name you see in the byline at the top of each exam page, next to the date the content was last updated.
We publish as a team. We do not list individual staff names, and we do not claim licences, teaching credentials or government roles we do not hold. When a licensed professional has reviewed an exam, that exam's page names them.
What we publish
- Original questions. None of them are real or recalled test questions. Licensing authorities keep their question banks private.
- Written from the official handbook. Each question is written from the official handbook or guide for that test, and its explanation names the section it comes from, with a link to the official page.
- Facts with sources. Facts about the test itself (number of questions, pass mark, fees) link to the official government page and show the date we checked it. If a number is not published, we say so instead of guessing.
How content is made and checked
- Notes from the handbook. We read each chapter of the official guide and write down the testable rules in our own words. We never copy handbook text.
- AI-assisted drafting. Questions and explanations may be drafted with AI tools. The tools work only from our handbook notes and are never asked to recall official test content.
- Automated quality gates. Before anything is published, a script rejects questions with duplicate or overlapping choices, missing explanations or sources, "all of the above" answers, near-duplicate wording, or answer keys that keep landing on the same letter. It also blocks key facts that have no official source or check date.
- Human verification is incomplete. Current question records remain marked draft. We do not have a completed approval log for every item or evidence supporting a claim that every batch and sensitive rule received human review. See the current review status.
- Unpublished exams. Draft exams are hidden from navigation and the sitemap. Publication alone does not establish professional or licensed review; we name a reviewer only when that review has been documented.
- Source-check tooling. Scripts can flag changes to linked official pages. A script or a source link does not establish that all questions are accurate or current.

Corrections and updates
- Report errors. Use Report a problem under a question and include the official source. Reports require checking; no correction deadline is guaranteed.
- Update log. When a rule or test format changes, we update the affected content, change its last updated date and record the change on the rule updates page. We never change the date without changing the content.
Independence
Canada Exam Prep is an independent study resource. We are not a government website, a licensing body or a school, and we are not endorsed by any of them. The site is funded by ads, as explained on the about page.

Email: aitaylorfan@gmail.com. For a mistake in a question, the Report a problem link under the question is quicker because it tells us exactly which one.
