MPI's knowledge test is taken on a computer, but plenty of people like to learn on paper first. This page sets out 100 Manitoba Class 5 practice questions, signs and rules of the road mixed across all 16 topics in our bank, followed by an answer key on separate pages. Print it, or choose Save as PDF to keep a copy on your phone for studying without a connection.
All of the questions are original, written from the MPI Driver's Handbook (online edition), and every answer in the key cites the handbook page it is based on. Manitoba-specific numbers get plenty of attention: the four-second following distance, five metres from a school bus, the 40 and 60 km/h rules for passing stopped emergency and tow vehicles, and the Tiered Administrative Licence Suspensions that start at a blood alcohol level of .05. When you have marked yourself, take a timed mock exam to get used to the 30-minute limit.
