This page puts 50 original practice questions for the ICBC Commercial Driver Knowledge Test (Class 1–4 and Air Brakes) on one sheet you can print or save as a PDF. They are drawn evenly from our 24 topics (licence classes, endorsements and testing, heavy vehicle braking, basic commercial driving skills, tires, warnings and personal safety, fuel-efficient driving, backing and handling trailers, coupling and uncoupling and loading and weight distribution, among others), so one sitting covers the whole test, not just the easy chapters.

The answer key starts on a new page after the last question. Each answer has a short explanation and the chapter of the Driving Commercial Vehicles it comes from, so you can check the rule in the official source instead of memorising our wording. These are not the official test questions: the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) does not publish its question bank. When the sheet feels easy, sit a timed mock exam of 50 questions (you need 40 correct to pass our mock).
