OMVIC Certification exam simulator

Original independent questions with editorial teaching-topic balance and difficulty. The 60 questions, 90 minutes and 48/60 reference match the published initial exam format, but this is neither official certification nor a calibrated readiness or pass prediction. How the simulator works

  • Every attempt draws from our original bank. The order may change, and questions can repeat.
  • No explanations or right answers appear until you submit.
  • Move freely between questions, change answers and flag any you want to check again.
  • When the time runs out, your test is submitted automatically.
  • Keyboard: 1–4 or A–D to answer, ← → to move, F to flag.

Find a quiet spot. If you leave the page during the test, you will be asked to confirm.

FAQ

Exam simulator FAQ

How is the simulator different from the mock exams?

The mixed practice uses a fixed set. The simulator draws 60 questions from our 162-question bank and can change their order. Questions may repeat; when the counts are equal, every attempt uses the same questions. Answers are hidden until submission.

Are these the real OMVIC Certification test questions?

No. These questions and any accompanying texts are original learning material. Official resources describe the assessment; they do not provide these answers. This site is independent of Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).

What happens when the time runs out?

You get 90 minutes. A warning appears with 5 minutes and with 1 minute left, and screen readers announce it. At zero, the test is submitted and marked automatically, and unanswered questions count as wrong. The official time limit is not published; the timer is a practice setting.

How is the simulation marked?

Original independent questions with editorial teaching-topic balance and difficulty. The 60 questions, 90 minutes and 48/60 reference match the published initial exam format, but this is neither official certification nor a calibrated readiness or pass prediction. Other draws reuse the same 162 concepts. After you submit, you see your score by section and by topic, then every question with your answer, the right answer and an explanation.

Can I go back and change my answers?

Yes. Until you submit, you can move between questions, change any answer and flag questions to check again. The question map shows which ones are answered, flagged or still empty. The official test may work differently, so check with the official test provider (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC)).
