MPI's Class 6 knowledge test is taken on a computer, but plenty of riders like to work through the Motorcycle Handbook with a pencil first. This page sets out 60 of our Manitoba motorcycle questions as a printable test, spread across all 13 topics: GDL rules, helmets and gear, equipment, controls and checks, starting and stopping, lane position, turns and intersections, highway and group riding, passengers, night and wildlife, road surfaces, emergencies and impaired-driving penalties. The answer key follows on separate pages.
Every question is original, and each answer in the key names the handbook page it comes from. MPI does not publish a pass mark, so use 80 percent as your practice standard: 48 or more out of 60. Then switch to our 25-question mock exams, which use the official 30-minute time limit. Watch the Manitoba numbers riders mix up: four seconds of following distance, groups of no more than four, 70 percent of braking from the front brake, and counter-steering above 20 km/h.
