Selling It Right is British Columbia's mandatory responsible-sales program for non-medical cannabis. The province requires cannabis store licensees, everyone who sells or supervises sales in a cannabis store, including government stores, and cannabis marketers to complete it before they can work in the role. The course and the exam are delivered online through the province's Responsible Service BC website.
This guide covers who needs the certificate, how the free course and the paid online exam work, what to do after you pass and how long the certificate lasts. Each fact links to the B.C. government page it comes from. To prepare for the exam, our free practice tests and mock exam cover the same rules on identification, intoxication and the law.
