  • Every attempt draws from our original bank. The order may change, and questions can repeat.
  • No explanations or right answers appear until you submit.
  • Move freely between questions, change answers and flag any you want to check again.
  • When the time runs out, your test is submitted automatically.
  • Keyboard: 1–4 or A–D to answer, ← → to move, F to flag.

FAQ

Exam simulator FAQ

How is the simulator different from the mock exams?

The timed practice uses a fixed set. The simulator draws 60 questions from our 60-question bank and can change their order. Questions may repeat; when the counts are equal, every attempt uses the same questions. Answers are hidden until submission.

Are these the real PSC SLE English Reading test questions?

No. These workplace texts and questions are original learning material. Official resources describe the assessment; they do not provide these answers. This site is independent of Public Service Commission of Canada.

What happens when the time runs out?

You get 90 minutes. A warning appears with 5 minutes and with 1 minute left, and screen readers announce it. At zero, the test is submitted and marked automatically, and unanswered questions count as wrong.

How is the simulation marked?

All questions in this practice attempt count. The percentage and any study target describe this original exercise only; they do not establish a PSC level, exemption or hiring result. After you submit, you see your score by section and by topic, then every question with your answer, the right answer and an explanation.

Can I go back and change my answers?

Yes. Until you submit, you can move between questions, change any answer and flag questions to check again. The question map shows which ones are answered, flagged or still empty. The official test may work differently, so check with the official test provider (Public Service Commission of Canada).
