Course alignment and coverage

Current official public course description checked 25 October 2026. No current section-level or weekly syllabus was publicly verified; topic alignment below does not claim a teaching sequence or assessment coverage.

Across this collection: 156 distinct original families and 468 parameter instances. Courses share topic banks; translations and shared mappings are not extra questions.

Supported learning objectives

  • Linear systems

Solve small two-variable systems, count a free variable and identify a singular parameter.

  • Matrix calculations

Compute selected sum/product entries, 2×2 determinants and an inverse entry.

  • Euclidean vectors

Calculate dot products, lengths, distances and a projection coefficient in two or three dimensions.

  • Small eigenvalue calculations

Find selected 2×2 eigenvalues, an eigenvector coordinate and a power trace from a supplied diagonalization.

What is not covered

Small real systems, matrix entries/determinants, Euclidean vector calculations and selected 2×2 eigenvalue examples only. No abstract vector-space proofs, complete basis/rank theory, general diagonalization, complex arithmetic, cross products or full line/plane geometry.

An original worked example

Solve x+y=5 and x-y=-1. Enter x only.

Worked solution

Answer: 2

  1. 2x=4.
  2. Thus x=2 and y=3; both original equations hold.
